A mountain lion was spotted yesterday at Osage Station Park in Danville, the site where our Sunday, May 4th Bay Area PeopleSoft Alumni picnic was planned. While the mountain lion was not aggressive and is about as likely to show up at a 100+ person, "Quattro de Mayo" picnic as KC and the Sunshine Band, we have decided the heightened vigilance required to ensure all offspring are safe over a four hour event would appreciably dampen the feel-good, fun-loving atmosphere we want.
So we had a PSFTAlum Board call this evening and decided to POSTPONE the picnic. As soon as we can, we will get the picnic back on the calendar.
In the meantime, what promises to be your sunny and 82 degree Sunday afternoon is now available!
